Vancouver has endless opportunities for arts, culture, and outdoor adventure. One of the best ways to explore this unique ocean-front city, and enjoy some fresh sea air, is the Seawall walk, a user-friendly path that winds its way around the waterfront of downtown Vancouver.

Following the Seawall you will pass through Coal Harbour (think urban markets, ice cream and beautiful views of the Burrard Inlet and North Shore Mountains), then on to Yaletown (a trendy neighbourhood packed with restaurants and bars, mega yachts, and oceanside parks). Take the mini Aquabus Ferry across False Creek to the famous Granville Island Market and stock up on goodies then head back towards English Bay (relax on the beach and gaze out at the ocean) before heading to Stanley Park (massive old growth trees, duck ponds and historic horse-drawn carriages). Renting a bike is a great way to explore the Seawall and you can load your bike on the passenger ferries, for quick access to Granville Island and North Vancouver.

If food is your thing, this melting-pot of cuisines is the perfect place for you! Vancouver boasts a huge variety of eateries, from classic Italian cafés to Korean BBQ to Japanese restaurants where sushi is delivered on tiny boats. You could stroll to Chinatown for dim sum, then head to Gastown for an old fashioned pub experience and finish off the day at a classy steakhouse – the options are endless! Of course, take-out is an option too and you may just wish to dine-in at your Executive Condo.

After all that eating, and a good night’s sleep, a day in the mountains might be calling you. Just a short distance from downtown, across the famous Lion’s Gate Bridge, beckon the forests and rivers of the North Shore. Bravely explore the Capilano Suspension Bridge and steep river gorges of Lynn Canyon, or challenge yourself to a hike up the Grouse Grind for stunning views overlooking Vancouver. Continue up the Sea-to-Sky highway towards Squamish and Whistler for access to more incredible hiking trails through untouched temperate rainforest.

Vancouver also offers a wide range of opportunities for sight-seeing, with art galleries, museums and science centres, gardens, markets and festivals; there is no lack of culture in this diverse city. Check out the Vancouver Convention Centre and IMAX, Science World, the Planetarium, Vancouver Art Gallery, Granville Island Market and the VanDusen Botanical Gardens, to name a few…
